Projects

A project holds test cases, plans, and runs for one product or team scope. Create a project when you are ready to organize work in Tracera.

Test cases and groups

A test case is a verification scenario with steps and metadata. Test cases are stored in a tree. Edit steps, metadata, and versions in the test case card; history stays available as you change work over time.

Plans and runs

You use a plan to define which cases to execute. Runs record results as you work. Use Rerun when you need to retry work; rerun outcomes can sync back to the source result where that flow applies.

Analytics

Analytics is where you review finished runs: an Overview of trends and problem cases, per-run charts (Summary, Automation, Duration, Assignees), or Compare of two runs. You can also open analytics for one run from that run’s page.

Filters

Tree search supports structured filters and suggestions from recent fields. Open the in-UI ? help for field reference while you build a query.

Desktop

Optional Desktop clients connect to your Tracera installation. Use them when you want a native window in addition to the web UI.
